Phia Fraud
There is a company called Phia that is co-owned by Phoebe Gates and Sophia Kianni. Phoebe Gates is Bill Gates’ daughter, and this pair of wannabe businesswomen have managed to come up with an unoriginal idea that rich celebrities desperately threw their money at because Phoebe absolutely did not use her name or relationship to her super-rich and infamous dad.
Previously this pair of dipshits came up with ideas like Bluetooth tampons, because why not have pointless technology crammed up your vagina? Fortunately for the rest of the females of the world when pitching this idea it was rejected on the basis that they could not answer what problem it solved or how it would make money.
Eventually they settled on a copy of Honey, the coupon finding service that automatically searches for and offers the use of money-off coupons on websites, mostly aimed at fashion. This is marketed as an AI company because it is The Current Year™ and if your company is not an AI company then you are a loser and will get Left Behind™.
These two are so stunningly devoid of useful ideas, creativity and originality that not only did they just copy Honey’s business model (the coupon thing) but they also copied the fraud Honey perpetrated to make extra cash.
Phia, like Honey and other frauds of this kind, had their app and browser extension drop cookies to steal attribution for sales they did not have any part of so they would receive the commission. Bloomberg ran an investigation and discovered this was happening and informed Phia who said they had only just found out about this within the last 24 hours, that it was related to a very recent code update and was a complete mistake that they would fix immediately.
They did indeed “fix” it, and their earnings dropped by over 50%. This prompted Bloomberg to look further into the matter and speak to actual Phia employees. It turns out that not only did they know about it, but both Phoebe and Sophia had both participated in Slack (a business chat app) conversations requesting these cookie drops be done more because they were not making enough money. These chats were from back in December 2025.
So, that was a complete lie. The story that they didn’t know until 24 hours before they were informed, which is a ludicrously unbelievable story anyway, was a lie, and worse than that, this pair of stupid girlbosses actually requested the engineers to do more of this a full 8 months previously.
As Phoebe has never leveraged her dad’s name, fame or wealth, we can be sure she won’t do that now and this obvious case of fraud to the tune of millions of dollars will be dealt with properly and justice will be done.
