Is there any extinction event that is not extremely severe?
That’s right. Elon Musk says words like “Lagrange points” and “mass drivers” and thinks we should all take him seriously. Obviously there are people who do indeed take this dipshit seriously, but for those of us blessed with a functioning brain this is beyond comical.
Sentient satellites can solve “global warming” for a billion years because AI will block out the sun to stop the 0.0000001C increase that the Lizards are unhappy about due to natural solar activity. Okay then.
No need to actually be concerned that the temperature of the planet will be handed to an unoriginal goth-themed anime space AI to control. It won’t happen, just like most of the other space-bullshit Musk dribbles about won’t either.
Obviously, this is just another biz-strat (that’s a business strategy for the non-billionaires AKA losers out there), as Musk has observed (or been informed of) the contradiction between the “carbon causing global warming” narrative and the “we must have moar AI narrative”. This is just a transparently lame attempt at reconciling the disparity between the two lies.
