Codeberg Bans AI
The AI bros are upset. A fairly small code repository site called Codeberg has decided that it no longer wishes to host shitty vibe-code that will never actually get used for anything more than lame attempts at swagger and clout. “Look, I have all these codebases my loop engineered agentic workflow built for me in 20 hours from a single prompt. No I haven’t looked at the code, or tested it, don’t ask about the results but I do have a course to sell you”. That kind of thing.
“Oh boo-hoo, it is so unfair” wail the AI bros.
If you see one, approach with caution and just ask why they can’t vibe code their own software repository. Enjoy.
